How To Save $2019 In 2019
It is almost 2019 and by the end of the year, we are all exhausted. The holiday shopping, the food preparations, cleaning the house – even your bank account is spent (see what I did there??).
So, I have a New Year’s financial challenge for you to get the year started on the right foot. It can be very difficult to save money without a plan, so let my free Save $2019 in 2019 worksheet be your guide.
If you put away approximately $40.38 each week, you will end up saving a total of $2019 by the end of the year. You can use that money towards a vacation, holiday gifts, stash it away as a nest egg – anything!
Here is how it works – print out this form and keep it on your fridge or in a safe place. Each week, put away $40.38 or more. (I would round this to $40.50 or $41 if you can – it saves a bit more and makes it easier not having to count pennies.)
If you can put this money away in a savings account, you’ll earn a bit more in interest. At the end of the year, you’ll have at least $2019 without having had to stress out about saving larger numbers.
If you find that your budget doesn’t lend itself to saving $41 per week, save $5 if you can. That will still have you saving $260 over the course of the year, which could take care of your holiday gifts and decorations. Do what you can do, but it is always easiest to start earlier rather than later. Happy new year!
