This easy Pink Heart Chocolate Pretzels recipe has only 3 ingredients, so it is one of those Valentine’s Day treats anyone can make!
Pink Heart Pretzels
These Pink Heart Chocolate Pretzels are the perfect treat for so many occasions! Whether you’re looking for Valentine’s Day desserts, party favors, classroom treats or just a special way to let someone know that they are loved, this delicious dessert recipe is a great one to have in your back pocket.
With only three ingredients, you could supervise a child who wants to make these pink heart pretzels and let them do it themselves. If their classroom permits homemade Valentine’s Day treats, they could give these out instead of the store purchased Valentine’s day cards. Much more personal and much more delicious!
These pretzels are naturally vegetarian, egg-free and nut-free. If you need a gluten-free version of this recipe, be sure to purchase gluten-free pretzels. They are the only ingredient with potential gluten, so they would be easy to create for a gluten-free crowd.
Heart Shaped Pretzels Recipe
Hershey’s Kisses bag 12 oz
Square butter snap pretzels bag 16 oz
Pink fondant 8 oz
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place your pretzel snaps onto your baking sheet. They don’t really need to be spread apart, so you can add as many as you can fit.
Unwrap your Hershey’s Kisses and place one on top of each pretzel snap. Place your pan in the oven for about 5 minutes.
While your pan is in the oven, roll out your fondant and cut out your heart shapes. You can use any small sized heart cutter, whether it’s a cookie cutter or a (clean!) clay cutter.
Remove your pan from the oven when the five minutes is done and carefully press a heart onto the center of each Hershey’s Kiss.
Let them cool for about half an hour and enjoy!
Can I Use Another Color Fondant For The Pink Hearts?
Yes! If you aren’t interested in the hot pink hearts or can only find another color of fondant, feel free. These will taste the same no matter the color.
Do I Have To Use Butter Snap Pretzels?
No, you can use any shape of pretzel other than pretzel rods. The heart on top of the circle on top of the square looks very cool, but if you are making these at the last minute, you can use any other shaped pretzel base.
