The Best Hack For Purchasing Household Items

Depend package coming out of a cardboard boxThis post was made in partnership with Depend® brand. All opinions are my own.

Life is busy, am I right? I find myself watching reruns of old television shows going, “Did they really have time for all of that?” The kids are out playing at the beach all day or running around the neighborhood while the adults are having tea parties and fancy dinners with pearls and martinis.

As a working mom with two kids, I don’t have a lot of time for tea parties (unless it is one that my daughter is throwing, but she’s kind of grown out of that). My day is made up of work, dinner prep, driving everyone to and from school, grocery shopping, driving the kids to lessons, helping with homework, cooking dinner, and then enjoying a little family time before passing out and starting everything again. And I know I’ve just described the life of many of you! There is a lot to do.

Because there is so much to accomplish, I have to find ways that will allow me to manage my time efficiently. That is why I rely on Amazon Subscribe & Save every month. Subscribe & Save is a program that allows you to set up regularly scheduled deliveries and earn savings at the same time. There are literally thousands of products that can be ordered this way – from dog food to Depend® FIT-FLEX® Underwear.

How to use Amazon Subscribe & Save

Place your order for each item, select the quantity, and have it delivered on a schedule that works best for you (from monthly to every six months). Before your items are shipped out each month, Amazon will send you a reminder email showing the item price and any applicable discount for your upcoming delivery. If you don’t need something that month (or at any time!), you can skip or cancel the deliveries with no issue.

There are a few things that I like about Subscribe & Save in particular. First, it helps keep me organized. I know that I will receive my laundry detergent, toilet paper, and my husband’s specialty tea every month without question. I have other subscriptions set up for every two or three months for gum, juice boxes, cough drops and other items. If we don’t need something that month, I bump until the next month. But it makes my life easier knowing that Amazon will remind me to review our household needs each and every month so that we have our essentials.

The second thing that I really appreciate about Subscribe & Save is that it is discreet. It is no one’s business what you are ordering and all you receive is an Amazon marked box, the same as any other Amazon box that gets delivered to the neighborhood on any other day. If you are a person like me who deals with incontinence, no one knows what you’ve ordered. Your Depend products are delivered directly to your door in a basic brown Amazon box with no other markings. So, in addition to not having to buy your incontinence products at your local brick-and-mortar store (which can sometimes be embarrassing), you are also saving time and money with Subscribe & Save.

Which is where my third point comes in. I am a huge fan of saving money. Amazon has competitive everyday prices already, but with Subscribe & Save, you are saving an additional 15% off the top each month. That means that without having to scour the store circulars, you are saving money, saving time, and it is being delivered to your house as often as you need it. It’s fantastic!

If you’ve been thinking about trying Subscribe & Save, this is the time to do it. Plus, when you sign up to receive Depend through Subscribe & Save now through Oct 13th, you’ll save $6 on your first order and another 15% off your total order. Don’t forget that shipping is always free as well!

I highly recommend purchasing your Depend this way. Dealing with incontinence can be a struggle, whether you are caring for yourself or for someone else with incontinence. There is much to think about and plan for on a daily basis, so this is one thing that you can let go of. When you order through Subscribe & Save, you can trust that it will be there each month, giving yourself the gift of not having to figure out when you can stop at the store or where there might be a sale. You have enough on your plate!

We all want what is best for our loved ones and ourselves, and we try our best to provide it. Give yourself a little break by depending on Amazon to get you what you need, when you need it. With the extra time, go play a game or have a conversation with your friends or family! Take a bath or read a book! You’ve earned it. Head here to sign up now!
