Pizza Pasta Casserole
I know that when you need an easy dinner recipe, pasta is usually at the forefront of your mind. It is for me! And this Pepperoni Pasta Bake is both quick to put together and tasty.
When we make the same pasta dishes over and over, they can get old. That said, if you’re like me and my family, you want to change things up, have them be delicious, but also not have them take a ton of effort. Particularly on school days!
Classic pepperoni pizza is one of those staples that many of us grew up with, so why not turn it into a pasta bake?
My Pepperoni Pasta Bake (or Pizza Pasta Casserole, whatever you want to call it) has only four ingredients, so it is something you can prepare for cooking at a moment’s notice. Keep the ingredients in your cabinet and fridge and you can pull them out when you need an easy recipe that the entire family will love. Especially on a weeknight!
This recipe is not gluten-free or vegetarian, but you can make some modifications in order to make them work. Use a gluten-free pasta in the place of regular rotini noodles in order to make it gluten-free.
To make your version of this recipe vegetarian, but still satisfying, replace the pepperoni with vegetarian pepperoni or go for some veggie crumbles instead. Whatever works best for you!

How do I make a Pepperoni Pasta Bake?
Ingredients:
1 box rotini noodles 16 oz
1 cup pepperoni, cut into quarters or halves
2 cups pasta sauce (your choice, but I use tomato & basil)
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded (additional cheese optional)
In a large pot, cook your rotini according to the directions on the box. Strain it in a colander and then return it to the pot.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and take out a 9×13 baking dish or large casserole dish.
Chop up the pepperoni into quarters or halves and then add it to the pot with the pasta. Add the pizza sauce and 2 cups of mozzarella cheese as well. Stir well to combine everything.
Pour your mixture into you baking dish. Sprinkle more mozzarella cheese on top if you want (I do!).
Bake for 35-40 minutes. Remove your casserole from the oven, making sure that the cheese looks gooey, and serve it with garlic bread or a side salad to complete your meal.
