No-Bake Mini Pudding Pies

I love desserts that anyone can make – and this winter Snowman Pudding Pie recipe is a delicious pie that ANYONE can make!

These no-bake pies come together quickly and easily. Individual desserts that are more than bite-sized, but with no cutting or serving required from a full-sized pie. The perfect way to serve several people easily.

This is a great recipe to let the kids make without you. You’ll need all of the ingredients on a table and separated, but once the pudding is prepared, you can have the kids put each winter pudding pie together while you’re doing something else.

Let them design as they see fit or make a bunch ahead of time and surprise everyone at a party or for dessert!

This delicious chocolate pudding pie recipe will be a big hit for winter parties, but you can make them any time of year.

These would be perfect for a Frozen party as well. These little guys look like Olaf and would be a good thing to serve lots of little ones. And the best part is that it’s such an easy recipe.

These mini pudding pies are vegetarian no-bake dessert recipes that everyone will love. Sometimes it’s about the simple things, so here’s hoping this delicious pie will become a family favorite. The hardest part will be not eating these mini desserts before it’s time!

Recipe Notes:

  • You can use whole milk, fat-free milk, or any milk you have available to make the pudding.
  • These easy desserts don’t need whipped cream or Cool Whip, but some people may ask for it on their chocolate pie, so you might want to have some available.
  • These mini pies will be fine at room temperature while you are eating dinner, so feel free to leave them out.

How To Make Mini Snowman Pudding Pies

Mini Snowman Pudding Pies Ingredients:

1 white chocolate pudding mix 3.3 oz (instant pudding plus cold milk)
6 ct package mini graham cracker pie crusts
3 Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Minis
3 Miniature Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
30 Mini semisweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, OR small black candies
1 tub Pillsbury Funfetti orange frosting
12 candy eyes

Supplies Needed:

Large mixing bowl
Wooden spoon or rubber spatula
Piping bag or resealable bag
Baking sheet

A clear bowl with vanilla pudding next to a mini graham cracker crust next to a bowl of candy eyes, a bowl of mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, a bowl of chocolate chips and large Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on a wooden table for Snowman Pudding Pies

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the instant chocolate pudding mix according to the package directions and let it set in a large bowl. This usually requires several cups of cold milk.

Step 2: Place each mini pie dish with the graham cracker crusts out in front of you on a flat work surface or a baking sheet.

It does not need to reach the edges of the pan, but it should have a good helping.

Step 4: Now we’re going to make the snowman’s hat and brim. Slice the 3 peanut butter cups minis and 3 miniature peanut butter cups in half from top to bottom.

The mini peanut butter cup will be the top of the hat and the larger ridged section you’ve just cut will be the hat’s brim.

Step 6: Place them on the creamy pudding as in the photo (towards the top of the pie, with the hat on top and the upside-down brim just below), stacked together. Repeat with all six pies.

Step 7: Give each snowman 2 eyes below the hat.

Gently squeeze the orange frosting out and onto the surface of the pudding to form the snowman’s nose.

Step 9: Give the snowman a mouth using the mini semi-sweet chocolate chips/black candies, placing five along the bottom curve of the individual pies.

How To Store Leftover Mini Snowman Pudding Pies

If you have leftovers, cover your sweet treats under a piece of plastic wrap and store them in the refrigerator for up to three days due to the freshness of ingredients.

How Long Do Snowman Pudding Pies Last?

Once assembled, these mini pies will last for about 3 – 4 days.

These are best eaten within 24 hours of making, but if you’ve covered and refrigerated any remaining mini chocolate pies, they’ll be fine for a few more days.

What Can I Add To The Pudding In These Little Pies?

For this mini chocolate pudding pies recipe, the pudding section doesn’t call for adding anything, but you can if you want to.

Chopped-up maraschino cherries, chocolate shavings, or nuts would add some tasty texture, or even a few chocolate chips if you have some left over. Stir these into the pudding before adding it to the prepared crust.

Can I Make A Homemade Pie Crust Instead Of Using A Prepared Pie Shell?

Yes! I use the pie shells because I’m looking to keep this an easy dessert, but if you have mini pie pans and want to make your own homemade crust out of graham cracker crumbs, feel free.

Be sure that you have enough mini pie plates so that everyone gets an individual pie, but go along with whatever methods of preparation work best for your family.
