This Easy No-Bake Chocolate Reindeer Bark is one of those Christmas reindeer recipes you will make every year! Perfect for making with kids!
Reindeer Bark
If you are looking for something festive that reminds you of Christmas reindeer, you have to try my easy no-bake Reindeer Bark! An incredibly simple dessert that anyone can make, this is perfect for your Christmas celebration!
I am not someone who knows much about actual reindeer recipes, so I would never pretend that I was, but a chocolate reindeer I can do. Add a few eyes, antlers and a nose and you’ve got a tasty (and adorable!) Christmas dessert.
This is one of those desserts that you may think of as a dessert for kids, but it really does serve everyone. It’s salty and sweet, which is one of the best flavor combinations.
This recipe is vegetarian and – provided you pick up gluten-free pretzels – can be gluten-free as well. It’s an incredibly quick dessert to make, with most of the time being spent waiting for the chocolate to harden. Put the kids to work making this one!
Reindeer Desserts
How To Make:
Ingredients:
1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips 12 oz
1/8 cup red and brown M&M’s
1 cup small pretzel twists
White shimmer sugar
Red and white candy cane sprinkles
Small candy eyes
Directions:
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large microwave save bowl, heat your chocolate chips in the microwave for 3-4 minutes on 50% power, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Pour your melted chocolate into the center of your parchment paper and spread it out evenly with your spatula.
Break your pretzels in half and place the halves next to each other in pairs on your melted chocolate. These will be the reindeer’s antlers.
While your chocolate is still melted and soft, start placing your candy eyes under the pretzels, next to each other in pairs.
Add your M&M’s under your candy eyes to make the noses (as in the photos).
Top your chocolate off with some sparkling sugar sprinkles and candy cane sprinkles. Sprinkle them all over so that every piece you end up separating has some.
Place your baking sheet in the freezer for about 30 minutes until your chocolate has hardened.
Once your chocolate has hardened you can begin breaking it into reindeer pieces. Gently break between each of the reindeer designs, making sure each is a full reindeer. Serve and enjoy!
Can I Use Milk Chocolate Chips Instead Of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips?
Yes! I enjoy this recipe with semi-sweet chocolate chips, but choose your favorite! If you prefer milk chocolate in a recipe, that would be just as amazing.
Can I Use Different Sprinkles Than Those Listed?
Yes! If you are unable to find the sprinkles and peppermint candy canes that I use, make your Reindeer Bark with whatever you have handy. Cooking should be fun, not stressful!
