Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole Recipe
How To Make:
2 cups cooked ham, cubed
2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
8 oz bread, cubed
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
pepper (to taste)
sour cream (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and prepare an 8×8 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the eggs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and pepper. Mix everything well to incorporate.
In a separate large bowl, combine the bread pieces, diced ham, cheese, and chopped green onion and stir them together. Pour the egg mixture into the bread and ham bowl.
Using a spatula, continue to fold and turn the ingredients together until all of the egg has been absorbed by the bread and other ingredients.
Transfer the mixture into your casserole dish. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the center of the pan is set. Slice it into individual portions and serve immediately. Place a small dollop of sour cream on top of each piece if you choose and enjoy!
