How To Make:

Ingredients:
6.25 oz sugar cookie mix pouch (usually calls for butter and water)
2/3 cup chocolate chips
1 cup Red, White & Blue M&M’s

Directions:

Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on your cookie mix pouch. Take out a tart pan and coat the inside with nonstick cooking spray.

In a large mixing bowl, follow the sugar cookies prep directions according to the package. Press the sugar cookie dough into the bottom of the pan and spread it evenly with your fingers.

Bake for 7-9 minutes in your preheated oven or until the edges are golden brown. Allow it to cool completely.

In a microwave safe medium bowl, melt the chocolate chips for about 30 seconds and stir. Heat in 15 second increments until completely melted, stirring in between each segment.

Spread the melted chocolate chips evenly over your cooled, soft sugar cookie crust. Sprinkle with Red, White & Blue M&M’s. Allow this to set for about 5 minutes.

Cut and serve or cool completely and cut later. This serves about 10-12 people. It is very rich, so smaller pieces will go far!

Store any leftovers in the pan covered with plastic wrap or aluminum foil for up to a week.

Can I Add Anything To This Dessert Pizza?

Yes! One cute addition that you can make is writing around the whole thing or in the middle. For example, decorate the entire outside of the chocolate with red white and blue M&M’s, allow the chocolate to harden and use red tube frosting to write, “Happy Fourth of July” in the middle. You could do the same for Memorial Day or Labor Day.
