Chocolate Valentine Cookies
Valentine’s Day is always more romantic with treats! Save on the chocolates and let these easy-to-make Chocolate Valentine’s Day Cookies let someone know that you love them.
These are chocolatey Valentine cookies that anyone can make, so give them a try! With only a few ingredients, you’ll be able to whip these up for your sweetheart.
Even better, they’re perfect to let the kids make by themselves if they’re old enough. You monitor, but they can take pride in the actual baking. Then they get to give some gifts as well.
These chocolate cookies are actually excellent for any time of year if you swap out the topping. Make them with purple, orange and black sprinkles for Halloween or snowflakes for any of the winter holidays.
How To Make Valentine’s Day Cookies
Ingredients:
1 box brownie mix (around 15.7 oz)
2 eggs
1 Tbsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
Valentine’s sprinkles
Preheat your oven to 325 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine your brownie mix, eggs, vanilla, and baking powder. Mix well with a hand mixer or stir until everything is well integrated.
Scoop your dough out with a tablespoon (for portion size) and roll your dough into balls.
Dip the top of your dough into the Valentine’s sprinkles and place each one onto your baking pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Right when you take your cookies out of the oven, press the top of them down with the bottom of a glass to flatten them slightly. Let your cookies cool and enjoy!
Can I Add Extra Chocolate To These Valentine’s Day Cookies?
I would not recommend using chocolate or chocolate chips instead of the brownie mix in this recipe, but you can add chocolate chips or pieces to the batter if you’d like to turn these into a chocolate chip cookie.
I Can’t Find Heart Sprinkles – What Should I Use?
If you can’t find heart sprinkles, feel free to use any sprinkles with Valentine’s Day colors. Anything that contains clear crystal, white, pink or red sprinkles should work!
