Fruity Pebbles Sandwiches
Okay, let’s be honest – who doesn’t love Fruity Pebbles?? It’s fruity and sweet and delicious. It is one of those cereals that parents buy for their kids just so that they can sneak a bowl for themselves at midnight. You know you do it!
These Fruity Pebbles sandwiches are incredibly easy to make and taste amazing. They are vegetarian and the perfect little no-bake dessert to make for a bake sale or kids party.
Depending on how many people you plan to serve, you may want to opt for a smaller sandwich than the ones I have pictured. To do this, just pick a smaller circle cookie cutter and follow the same instructions. You can also make a single monster sandwich by cutting out a huge circle twice! Just have fun and enjoy!
Fruity Pebbles Sandwiches Recipe
Ingredients:
5 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
10 oz bag mini marshmallows
3 Tbsp butter
1 tub Betty Crocker Rainbow Chip (or vanilla if this is unavailable)
Place your marshmallows and butter in a large mixing bowl.
Microwave for 1-2 minutes or until the marshmallows gets puffy. Stir the melted ingredients together to make sure they’re incorporated.
If you prefer to do this in a pot, break out a large pot and heat both ingredients over medium while stirring frequently.
Once everything is melted, mix in your Fruity Pebbles.
Grease a baking pan. The larger the pan (such as a 9×13-inch), the easier it will be for you, but you can make these in a smaller pan if need be.
Press your Fruity Pebbles firmly into the pan. You’ll want to do this with your hand to get the Fruity Pebbles really packed down, but you can use a greased sandwich bag to cover your fingers. Spread a bit of butter on the outside, put your hand inside and you have a great glove!
Freeze your Fruity Pebbles in the pan for 30 minutes.
Use a round cookie cutter to cut out as many circles as you can. You can choose to make these small sandwiches or larger ones based on the size of the cookie cutter you choose.
Frost one circle with a good amount of your Rainbow Chip frosting and top the frosting with another circle. Voila! Fruity Pebbles sandwich!
