Ice Cream Bowls
When you think of Rice Krispies treats, you don’t often think of them as something that can hold something else. But they can! These no-bake ice cream bowls are incredibly easy to make and super cool to boot!
If you make these ahead of time you can use them for a birthday party or an exciting addition to movie night. They’re incredibly easy to make and the result is even better than a standard waffle cone (if I do say so myself!). Give them a whirl!
The number of bowls that you end up with for the instructions below will depend on the size of the cookie cutter you use. That said, if you use a standard cookie cutter, you should be able to get eight bowls. If you need a few more, use a slightly smaller cookie cutter or make a double batch. They’re worth it!

Rice Krispies Recipe
Ingredients:
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 bag miniature marshmallows 15 oz
3 Tbsp butter, softened
1 bag milk chocolate candy melts
Rainbow sprinkles
Ice cream
Grease a 9 x 13” pan with non-stick cooking spray. In a large microwave safe bowl, heat the marshmallows and butter for 1 – 2 minutes until the marshmallows get puffy and the butter is melted. Keep an eye on it so that nothing burns.
Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the Rice Krispies. Scoop the mixture into your greased baking pan, pressing down firmly with a greased potato masher and freeze for 15 minutes.
Use your circle cookie cutter to cut out as many circles as you can. The number that you end up with depends on the size of the cookie cutter you choose.
Press your Rice Krispies circles flat but leave a little thickness. Mold the Rice Krispies in your hands to look like a bowl. It helps if you pinch the edges like a pie crust.
In a small microwave safe bowl, heat 2 cups of candy melts on 50% power for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
Pour the melted chocolate into a pastry bag or Ziploc bag, cut the tip off and drizzle chocolate over the top edges.
Top immediately with sprinkles and place your bowls in the freezer for 5 minutes.
Scoop ice cream in the center and top with more sprinkles. Serve immediately and enjoy!
