Recipe Notes:

  • You can use either fresh peaches or frozen peaches for these ice pops.
  • You will want to use fresh blueberries over frozen blueberries to get the right tart and sweetness level.
  • If you don’t have a blender, you can use a food processor to blend your ripe peaches.
  • It may be easiest to place your cups on a rimmed baking sheet or in a muffin tin and place that in the freezer.
  • If you plan to leave your icy popsicles in the freezer for a few days, cover each one in plastic wrap to avoid freezer burn.

I Don’t Want To Use Dixie Cups. What Kinds Of Popsicle Molds Can I Purchase?

If you don’t want to purchase Dixie cups as ice pop molds, there are other things you can use. My favorite popsicle mold is always one that releases the popsicles easily. I don’t like to fight with ice cube trays or molds, so I want to make sure there’s an efficient way to get my now perfect pops out.

Ice pop molds are way different and more sophisticated than they used to be, so take a look through some of the fun molds you can get now

Are There Other Kinds Of Fruit I Can Use For These Fruit Popsicles?

Yes! If you don’t have access to fresh blueberries or peaches, you can use a different fruit. The most important part about these is that you want to keep them healthy popsicles with natural ingredients, so you’re looking to use fresh fruit.

You could substitute fruit purees from fresh strawberries or ripe bananas for the peaches, and small pieces of kiwi or even mandarin oranges in place of the blueberries. In the end, you could have delicious blueberry popsicles with another fruit puree or easy peach popsicles with other fruit chunks.

Can I Turn These Into Peach Blueberry Yogurt Popsicles?

Yes! The best thing about making homemade popsicles is that you can use whatever main ingredients you want. And if your family prefers creamy peach popsicles with blueberries instead, here is the easiest way to make that happen.

While you are blending the peaches, add your creamy yogurt to the blender. Place your blueberries in the cups just as you normally would and pour the creamy blended mixture into your cups. This will yield a few more cream popsicles because you are adding an ingredient, so be ready with extra cups.

You can use any type of yogurt you choose for these healthy treats, but I would stick with a full-fat Greek yogurt or full-fat vanilla yogurt if you have your choice. You can also choose a dairy-free yogurt if that’s your preference.

When you are making your own popsicles, consider using the original popsicle mixture for a first batch and your peach blueberry yogurt mixture for a second batch.
