If you’re looking for a great dessert that will take you minutes to make and is also a delicious recipe, look no further than these Blue Sky Jello Parfaits! A simple dessert that is perfect for adults and kids of all ages, these will be a huge hit!

I love to make parfait recipes. They are tasty, take very little time, and satisfy your sweet tooth. Plus, you can change up the colors of this no-bake recipe to celebrate any holiday or season. 

A Blue Sky Jello Parfait is one of my favorite recipes to make when you want to brighten up the mood, celebrate spring, summer, or fall, or give yourself a little “sunny day” during the winter. With only two ingredients, you can make some at any time if you keep the ingredients in your freezer and cupboard. 

Part of the fun of these Blue Sky Parfaits is that it should look like you can see the blue sky and fluffy clouds clearly. For that reason, I highly suggest that you hand wash the glasses you use and dry them with a paper towel. That way you can see the gelatin mixture clearly with no spots.

Recipe Notes:

  • Don’t let these sit at room temperature or they will melt.
  • When making this fun dessert, make sure that the Jello isn’t too soft or too hard. You don’t want it to be mushy, but you also don’t want to have a film on it. Use the Speed-Set Method on the Jello box to get the correct consistency.

How To Make Jello Cloud Parfaits

Ingredients:
1 box blue gelatin 3 oz  (I used Berry Blue Jello)
2 cups water

1 container whipped topping

Directions:

Prepare your blue Jello according to the box instructions. I highly recommend using the Speed-Set Method stated on the box. This will include both boiling water and cold water, so be prepared with those. 

Blue Jello in a dish with a spoon with it next to four parfait glasses on a metal table for Blue Sky Jello ParfaitsRemove your Jello from the fridge when it is firm, but not hardened completely. This should be in the vicinity of 60 minutes. 

Take out four parfait glasses and set them aside. Run a spoon through the Jello mixture a little bit to loosen it up. You want to be able to scoop easily without getting huge chunks.

Add a dollop of Cool Whip to one side of the glass, making sure that it is flush with the glass. Continue to fill the glass with blue Jello until just below halfway full.

Add a second Cool Whip dollop to the other side of the glass, making sure that it is flush with the glass.

Store any leftovers in the refrigerator covered in plastic wrap for up to five days. 

Can I Turn These Into Strawberry Jello Parfaits? 

Yes! You can easily turn these Blue Sky Parfaits into the perfect dessert for Valentine’s Day by swapping out strawberry Jello, raspberry Jello, or any other red Jello.

Use the Cool Whip in the same way that you do in this recipe and serve it with some fresh strawberries or chopped strawberries on the side. Super easy and an elegant dessert to serve your sweetheart.

Can I Design These Parfait Cups For Different Holidays?

Yes! This is a great recipe to tweak for any special occasion. Swap out the flavor of Jello depending on your celebration and you have a fun treat that can be made in minutes!

Use green Jello for St. Patrick’s Day, orange Jello for Halloween, or keep this particular recipe for Chanukah. You can even turn these into fancy Jello desserts by using some small wine glasses and serving them with fresh raspberries on the side. This Jello parfait recipe is incredibly versatile.

Ingredients

  • 1 box blue gelatin 3 oz (I used Berry Blue Jello)
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 container whipped topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare your blue Jello according to the box instructions. I highly recommend using the Speed-Set Method stated on the box.
  2. Remove your Jello from the fridge when it is firm, but not hardened completely. This should be in the vicinity of 60 minutes.
  3. Take out four parfait cups and set them aside.
  4. Run a spoon through the Jello to loosen it up.
  5. Layer the bottom of each parfait cup with the blue Jello.
  6. Add a dollop of Cool Whip to one side of the glass, making sure that it is flush with the glass.
  7. Continue to fill the glass with blue Jello until just below halfway full.
  8. Add a second Cool Whip dollop to the other side of the glass, making sure that it is flush with the glass.
  9. Add more blue Jello until full. Top each one off with a dollop of Cool Whip if desired. Refrigerate until you are ready to serve and enjoy!
