Cheesy Pretzel Dogs

You don’t have to reserve pretzel dogs to the ballpark. These delicious Homemade Pretzel Dogs with Cheese are a choice dish that anyone can make right in their own kitchen!

I grew up eating a traditional hot dog in a traditional hot dog bun at the ballpark. Whether we were at a Cubs game or watching my brother play ball as a kid, the hot dog was always my favorite part of the experience. I mean, I love my brother, but watching a game is just better with a dog!

Then Annie Anne’s came into the picture and their pretzel dogs were awesome. So it was time to find a way to make them at home.

An easy pretzel dog recipe with simple ingredients that you can get at your local grocery store, this will have you making soft pretzels with hot dogs and cheese wrapped inside.

This family-friendly recipe uses 10 hot dogs or sausages (your choice), but you’ll be cutting them in half to serve more people. Great for game day, as a birthday party treat, or as an after-school snack, these are a great finger food. Serve them on their own, with your favorite mustard or a cheese sauce on the side.
