Bacon Mac & Cheese
Homemade macaroni and cheese is one of the best comfort foods around, but it can be made even better – by adding bacon! This Bacon Mac & Cheese dinner is delicious and everyone will love it!
It takes about 50 minutes to make this yummy dish, but 45 of that is cook time, so it’s very easy. Creamy and cheesy, in the end, it’ll be more than worth it!
This yummy dish can be served as a main dish or a side dish. It’s also a fantastic leftovers option or something the kids can have for lunch.

Bacon Mac & Cheese Recipe
Ingredients:
8 oz Cavatappi pasta (uncooked)
1 can evaporated milk 12 oz
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup water
2 Tbsp corn starch (dissolved in 2 Tbsp cold water)
2 Tbsp butter
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
6-8 pieces of bacon, cooked and crumbled/chopped
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. In a square baking dish, add your dry pasta, 1 cup of evaporated milk, chicken broth, water and corn starch mixture. Stir well to combine.
Cut your butter into thin pieces and place them over the top of your pasta. Spread the butter out so that it will melt everywhere. Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove your dish from the oven and stir after 15 minutes. Cover tightly again and return it to the oven for another 15 minutes.
At that point, remove the dish from the oven and stir again. Cover tightly and return to oven for an additional 10-15 minutes or until your pasta is tender.
When your pasta is done, remove the dish from the oven and stir in your cheese and remaining evaporated milk.
Stir in your cooked and chopped bacon. Serve hot and enjoy!
