Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites
Sometimes you want a treat that you can make in minutes and has very few ingredients. That is exactly what you’re going to love about these Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites!
With only two ingredients, this is the kind of easy dessert that you can have on-hand at any time and make them as needed. These are extremely close to elephant ear desserts, but with a cinnamon roll twist.
Grab a tube of your favorite brand of store bought cinnamon rolls and have some sugar on-hand to make this treat. You’ll need some vegetable oil or canola oil for frying, but that’s it! Even better, you’ll be ready to eat in about 25 minutes!

Cinnamon Roll Bites Recipe
Ingredients:
 8 ct Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls (any flavor you choose)
 1 cup granulated sugar
 4 cups vegetable oil (for frying)

Set the stovetop to high and allow it heat for 7-10 minutes (Caution: this will be very hot even though it won’t be boiling without food added!). You can also use a candy thermometer to measure for 350 degrees F.
Cut your cinnamon roll dough into quarters so that you have 32 pieces.

WORST. RECIPE. EVER.
The instructions “Heat your oil for 10 minutes” is TOTALLY inaccurate. Stovetops don’t heat the same, so when I heated mine up for 10 minutes, the oil was so hot it was about to burst into flames. Still – I had faith and put a couple bites in and they charred instantly. Not understanding why they don’t just have a temperature. I tried 350 degrees Fahrenheit and it worked. Do not follow the instructions. Just aim for 350 degrees with a candy thermometer.
