Snickers Apple Salad

This Snickers Caramel Apple Salad is a classic easy recipe that is perfect for apple season! Just like any Snickers salad recipe, this has caramel and Snickers, but with the tart Granny Smith apples, Cool Whip, and pudding, this perfect combination is on the next level.

An easy dessert to make for family gatherings, block parties, or your next potluck, this vegetarian Apple Snickers Salad recipe will easily become one of your family favorites. The best part is that this great recipe is made up of simple ingredients that you can easily get at any grocery store.

This Caramel Apple Snickers Salad recipe calls for using a bag of mini Snicker bars, but if you can only find a regular size Snickers candy bar, feel free to use those. One bag of minis is equal to about 10 or 11 regular-size Snickers.

Whether you are serving this after a family dinner or on special occasions, it is the perfect dessert for a lot of people. One of the easy recipes that you can make whenever you have a bunch of apples on hand.

Recipe Notes:

  • You want to chop the Snickers bars into small pieces, so either quartering or halving each Snickers mini will work.
  • You will be adding the dry pudding mix to the whipped topping while it is still dry. Do not make the pudding according to the package directions.
  • You can drizzle caramel sauce as often or as sparingly as you like in this sweet treat.
  • If you want to make this a nut-free dessert, use Milky Way bars instead of Snickers.

Can I Use A Different Kind Of Apples For This Caramel Apples Snickers Salad?

Yes! I like to use Granny Smith because they are tart apples and they balance well with the sweetness of the Snicker bar and Cool Whip mixture, but you can use the apples of your choice.

Choose Fuji apples, Red Delicious apples, Honeycrisp apples, Pink Lady apples, or whatever other fresh apples you enjoy most. Try it with tart green apples the first time and red apples the next time, then choose your preference!

Can I Use Something Other Than A Trifle Bowl For This Apple Snicker Salad Recipe?

Yes! This tart dessert salad is one that I make in a trifle dish, but you can use a large bowl if you choose. Try to use a clear bowl so that everyone can see the layers – that is part of the fun.
