A lot like a strawberry cheesecake in a trifle dish, the difference is that it layers the luscious cream with the fresh strawberries and raspberries. And while this isn’t completely a no-bake recipe, it is easy and really does taste as good as it looks!
Make sweet trifle treat for a party or a pot luck dessert for the family. Let it be the edible centerpiece as well as dessert trifle!

Strawberry Trifle Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups pretzels, crushed
1 cup pecans, chopped
1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
1 1/2 cups melted butter
4 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup fresh raspberries
16 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
16 oz whipped topping
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place your two cups of whole pretzels in a Ziploc bag and crush them with your hands or a potato masher.
In a large mixing bowl, combine your melted butter, crushed pretzels, brown sugar, and chopped pecans and mix thoroughly.
Pour the mixture onto your baking sheet and bake for about 8 minutes. Once it is finished, let it cool and then break the brittle apart into pieces.
In another large mixing bowl (or wash out the one you just used), beat together your whipped topping, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract with a handheld mixer.
Mix in your sugared pretzels and stir the combination thoroughly.
In a large trifle dish, place a layer of about 1 1/2 cups of your strawberry/raspberry mix in the bottom of a trifle dish.
Next, spread half your cream cheese mixture on top.
Add another layer of your strawberries and raspberries as well as the other half of your cream cheese mixture on top.
Finish up by adding the rest of your strawberries and raspberries on top. Enjoy!
